Synopsis:
Having just completed his mission to the House of the Blue
Wisteria. Alex is looking forward to mate-bonding with his Fae lover, Stefan.
The queen, however, has other ideas. It seems that Lord Des Mares, her peace
envoy to the elf realm has gone missing. She orders a reluctant Alex, along
with his squire Toby, to go to the Elf Republic to find him.
Things are complicated by the fact the two realms have been
technically at war for centuries. When Alex and Toby arrive they are
unexpectedly thrust into a murder investigation. An elf noble that was a highly
vocal opponent of peace has been stabbed to death. Lord Des Mares is suspected
since it turns out his dagger was the weapon that was used. He stands arrested and
faces a trial and execution if convicted. With hidden secrets around them Alex
needs all his wits to solve a "Murder in the Elf Republic".
